This notice explains which personal data is processed when you visit xtechnic.ch or contact us, why it is processed and whom you can contact.
Scope and purposes
This privacy notice applies to xtechnic.ch. We process personal data to provide the website, maintain its secure operation, respond to enquiries and assess or carry out a possible collaboration. It does not automatically apply to other linked websites.
Technical operation and hosting
The website runs on our own infrastructure in Switzerland. Visits require processing technical information such as IP address, time, requested resource and information transmitted by the browser. Technical logs may be used for troubleshooting and protection against abuse. Operational data is retained only as long as necessary for these purposes and the investigation of specific incidents.
Contact form, email and telephone
The form processes your inputs in the browser and prepares an email draft in your own email application. It does not send the enquiry itself or transmit form inputs to a form server. Only when you send the message is it transferred through the participating email services. For an enquiry, we process your name, contact details, message and technical information needed to handle the request. Please do not include passwords or particularly sensitive personal data in an initial enquiry.
Recipients and processing abroad
Enquiry data is accessed only by people who need it to handle the request or an agreed service. Necessary collaboration with additional specialists is coordinated where required. For email and external links, providers you use may process data outside Switzerland; their respective services and privacy notices apply. Any proposed use of additional external services for a specific project is established in advance.
Appearance, browser language and local storage
A manual choice of light or dark appearance is saved under xtechnic-theme in your browser local storage. It remains until you change the choice or clear that browser data. System mode follows the operating system. The entry page reads preferred browser languages locally to open German or English. This does not create a visitor profile.
Fonts, content and tracking
This website serves its fonts, illustrations, styles and scripts locally. Typography does not connect to Google Fonts. We do not use analytics or marketing trackers, advertising cookies or embedded social-media feeds on this website. Following an external link opens a separate offering.
Retention of enquiries
Correspondence is retained as long as needed to respond, assess or carry out a collaboration and meet legal obligations. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised unless a retention duty or legitimate reason requires it to be kept.
Your rights and contact
Under applicable data protection law, you may request access to your personal data and its correction or deletion. Other rights and legal exceptions may apply depending on the situation. Contact the responsible person identified above. Proportionate identity verification may be required to avoid unauthorised disclosure. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

This notice is updated when the website functions or processing of personal data change. The date of this version is shown at the end of the page.
